Send a voice message

Touch and hold the microphone next to the message field and speak. Let go to send.

• Hands free: slide your finger up to lock the recording, then you can let go and keep talking.
• Cancel: slide left before you let go.
• Listen first: when a recording is locked you can stop it, play it back, and then send or delete it.

A voice message can be up to 30 minutes long. If you leave the chat while a locked recording is still open, it is kept as a draft and the chat shows Draft with its length until you send or delete it.
