Search inside a chat

Open the chat, tap the person's name at the top and choose Search. Type a word and use the arrows to move between matches.

The search field at the top of the Chats tab finds chats, groups, channels and people by their username. It does not search the words in your messages. To find words, search inside the chat as described above.
