Delete a message

Touch and hold the message and choose Delete. You get two choices:

• Delete for Me removes it from your phone only. It is always available.
• Delete for Everyone removes it for the other person too. You can only do this for your own messages, and only within 48 hours of sending.

A message deleted for everyone leaves a small note in its place, You deleted this message, so the conversation still makes sense.

To delete several at once, touch and hold one message, choose Select, tick the others and tap delete.
