Create a channel
Tap the new chat button at the top of your chat list, then New channel.
- Give the channel a name (up to 100 characters), and if you like a photo and a description (up to 255 characters).
- Tap Next. The channel is made at this point.
- Choose Public or Private. A public channel gets a link like fariin.com/yourname and can be found in search and in Find Channels. A private one can only be followed with its invite link.
- For a private channel you can turn on Approve New Followers, so people who open the link ask first.
- Add followers from the people you already chat with, or skip this.
In the channel's settings you can turn on Protect Content, so followers cannot copy, save or forward posts.
Only you and the admins you add can post. Followers read, react and vote in polls.
By creating a channel you agree to the Channel Guidelines.
